Sustainability
The importance of architecture is the power it possesses to impact future generations and positively impact the environment. In my designs, I strive to reduce wastage, emphasize renewable material usage as well as ensure a harmonious and beneficial relationship between the building and environment. The fundamental reason for which sustainability is a major tenet in my designs is due to the belief that 'anything positive that can outlive you is worth embarking upon'. This viewpoint has spurred the integration of sustainable features from conception to design.

Ubuntu
Ubuntu is an Nguni Bantu term meaning "humanity". It is often translated as "I am because we are", or "humanity towards others", or in Zulu "umuntu ngumuntu ngabantu" or in Xhosa, "umntu ngumntu ngabantu". It is often used in a more philosophical sense to mean "the belief in a universal bond of sharing that connects all humanity".
I place the benefit to humanity as the fulcrum of my design. Through the message of 'Ubuntu', the placement of my buildings in the larger environmental context is of great importance to ensure that the built and natural environments are improved.
Design Process
In every project, I structure my creative approach in a way that aligns the societal, health and spatial benefits as the focus of the design process. The ideas go through careful refinement to take them from conception to creation. This enables me to develop exquisite and positively impactful designs.
My design concept is centred around the integration of sustainable design with features that elevate the experiential quality of the space. The main method of design is divided into four main phases: Ideation, Intended Impact, Formation and Realiztion. The integration of these phases allows me to create truly remarkable and holistic designs.
